The nun. Who can claim to really know this figure? Who can nearly understand her ability to walk straight and, in the blink of an eye, disappear into the confusion of the city? It is interesting to see how this figure moves in the shadows of the Catholic community and the society. It is my intention to give them a genuine attention without filters or fantasy stories. 
The nuns' stories are narrated through documentary shots, since documentary photography allows to show an accurate and effective report of their lives. The photos immortalize who they are as a religious human but especially as a women in this society. The shots communicate a level of concreteness that is difficult to define in words. Words may be misunderstood in their tone or content but I still invite you to read the interviews: a pure dialogue between me and the nuns.

It is my duty and sincere pleasure to give a voice to every women regardless the life path they have undertaken.
